Studia Securitatis Journal ((ISSN 2821 – 5966; ISSN – L 2821 – 5966) is a peer-reviewed academic publication with a biannual frequency. It publishes studies on international, national, community, and private security, as well as security analyses from military, economic, social, and political perspectives. The journal was founded in 2007 under the Faculty of Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. Since 2012, it has been published under the Research Center in Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies, together with the Department of International Relations, Political Science, and Security Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The journal aims to disseminate scientific research to academics, researchers, journalists, students, and both governmental and non-governmental security experts worldwide.

Studia Securitatis Journal is an open-access publication. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access charges. The journal does not impose article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. Authors are not required to pay for the submission, peer review, processing, or publication of their manuscripts. This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to supporting unrestricted access to scholarly research and ensuring that financial considerations do not limit the dissemination of knowledge.
