Instructions for Authors
Please ensure your submission adheres to these instructions to facilitate a smooth review and publication process.
Articles submitted to the Cibiniensis Journal of Education can be written in Romanian, English, or German. Regardless of the chosen language for the full article, all submissions must include an abstract in English as well as in the selected article language. This ensures accessibility to a wider academic audience and enhances the visibility of the research. Authors should ensure that their abstracts accurately reflect the study’s content and maintain high linguistic and academic standards.
Submission Requirements
- Word Count: Articles should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Language: Submissions must be in English, using clear and concise academic language.
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
Manuscript Structure
Your manuscript should follow the journal’s official template, which is available for download here.
Title Page
- Title of the article (Times New Roman, 14 pt, Bold).
- Author names and affiliations (Times New Roman, 12 pt, Bold).
- Corresponding author email address (Times New Roman, 9 pt).
Abstract
- A concise summary (150–250 words) of the study’s purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications (Times New Roman, 10 pt).
- Include 3–5 keywords separated by commas.
Main Sections
- Introduction: Define the problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
- Theoretical Background / Literature Review: Summarize relevant research and provide a conceptual framework.
- Methodology: Clearly describe the research design, participants, procedures, and analytical methods.
- Results: Present findings using text, tables, and figures as appropriate.
- Discussion: Interpret results, link them to existing research, and highlight their implications.
- Conclusion: Summarize the main contributions and suggest future research directions.
- References: Follow APA (7th edition) citation style.
Tables and Figures
- Must be referenced in the text and numbered sequentially.
- Include descriptive titles (e.g., „Table 1. Descriptive Statistics”).
- Tables should use horizontal lines only to delineate headers and footers.
Referencing Style
References should follow the APA 7th edition guidelines. Example:

Formatting Requirements
Please use the journal’s template to ensure proper formatting. Key style features include:
- Font: Times New Roman.
- Spacing: Single-spaced throughout.
- Alignment: Justified text alignment.
- Headings: Clearly distinguish sections using appropriate heading levels.
